Bullet Journal Update

Hey there! Today I thought I'd share an update to my bullet journal since we left off! I still use my bullet journal every single day and I can't speak highly enough of it. I'm going to show you what I've done the past few months and what I decided to do for August. I will be doing this more frequently; at the end of every month I'll show you what I did for that month and what I've planned for the next month! I hope you guys like this post and get some inspiration for your spreads, or to start your very own bullet journal! You can see a post about all the basic info here!  So without further ado, let's start with August.

August is a big month for me, I'm starting school again and going from summer brain to busy brain. I needed to include a habit tracker this month to keep me on top of my tasks and hold me accountable for doing them. I also included a gratitude tracker to help me remember the good things in life as this month starts to get stressful.

For my weekly spread, I kept things simple here, tying in that pink from my monthly to create some sort of cohesiveness. I've been including a notes section in my weeklies for general to do lists, shopping lists, or gentle reminders of the stuff I've been putting off and need to get done.  I've really simplified this week's layout from what I've been doing which I will show ya below.

In the past few weeks I've had a lot of extra time to be crafty so I've spent more time on my weekly spreads. I did notice that I spent all that time on them and didn't use them as much as I should have because I just haven't been that busy.  I've been going back and forth between big colorful spreads and minimal one page spreads and I think I've found a happy medium in my August weekly.

My monthlies are always different but usually do include that giant calendar. I realized I was spending like 20 minutes making that calendar and I really didn't have much to write in there during the summer at least, so for August I really trimmed that down. I do miss having a big space for a monthly to do list and an upcoming section, so I'll have to figure out a way to incorporate those in September!

I've also been including a memories page each month that serves as a cute lil' scrapbook and I LOVE it! It's so special and happy to look back on! I definitely recommend using your bullet journal for something like this because it's such a good way to get some creative juices flowing and express yourself!

I really hope you enjoyed this post! I'm always here to answer questions for you! Also, let me know if you'd like to see a post on how to use a bullet journal for back to school scheduling and note taking!

Happy journaling!
